Today I made Ham Bone Soup
Step 1
Boil a small sized bone in ham for about 2-3 hours until meat falls off the bone. Remove meat from stock and put stock in fridge to congeal.
Step 2
I sautéd sliced small red potatoes, garlic, and finely diced onions and sweet peppers in garlic.
Step 3
I added my chopped ham, corn, and carrots. Got it sizzling and added some of my stock from the boiled ham (I skimmed the fat off the top) about two cups and added another 2 cups of chicken broth. Once boiling I added a cup of condensed cream of celery soup.
Step 4
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and serve.
*I am estimating my measurements. I don’t really ever measure anything!
